I was led to believe there was just a single role play by the person trying to get me to join the program. Turns out, that was a mistake, and it really bummed me out, so I’m sorry for that. The sheer number of video role plays required was another big headache. Honestly, I’ve never had to do this many in all my schooling. Managing so many role plays is a logistical nightmare. It’s also tough on friends and family, who are roped into helping even though they didn’t sign up for this.
I ended up doing most of my own digging to answer my questions since I found it hard to get enough help during the course. After dropping nearly 4,000 bucks on this, I’m left feeling pretty let down and really unhappy.

I had a fantastic time with the Counselling Diploma - the material was really engaging and detailed, giving me a chance to hone my counselling skills for the field. Huge thanks to the crew - from the student support folks to our instructor Ronnie, they’re always ready to help out, answering questions super fast and being really useful with assessments. The learning management system was a breeze to use. Staying motivated can be a bit tough since it’s all online, but the team checks in often to see how you’re holding up and what help they can offer to keep you on track. Overall, a great experience with Upskilled!

I recently completed my Certificate III in IT, and I was really pleased with the encouragement and assistance I got from my instructors and the support team. Transitioning from traditional in-person classes can be a bit of a shift, but it’s not a one-size-fits-all approach. If you’re looking for something a bit different, this is definitely the spot.

The way the course material is presented is super straightforward and well-organized, making their learning portal a breeze to navigate.

They switched up the course material and the online learning platform just when I was almost done with all the assignments, so I had to redo a bunch of work. They did offer a refund for the course fees, but that hardly makes up for the time I took off from my job to tackle most of the theory assignments. The statement of attainment I got doesn’t really reflect the level or quantity of work I completed, and they couldn’t provide any sort of document to show my progress in the unfinished units (like a rubric of what I had done) for future RPL applications. I’m really let down by the poor planning, lack of foresight, and disregard for the impact on current students. They definitely weren’t living up to what they were teaching! Super disappointed.

The staff were super helpful at the beginning, providing all the info I needed before signing up. They kept in touch every step of the way until the course was about to start, but then it all went quiet. No one reached out to explain how to log into the website. I had to dig through the student handout to find out I needed a username and password. I ended up having to email and call just to get that sorted. I totally get that you’re busy, but a bit more communication would really make a difference. Thanks!

I’m really not happy that nobody reached out to assist me with the learning setup. I scheduled a Zoom session for help, but no one showed up or informed me it was canceled.

I shot an email to UpSkilled asking for details on the Certificate III in individual support. They got back to me super fast.

I recently finished the three units for the short course in Counselling. I really enjoyed it and am now signing up for the full Diploma of Counselling. The resources are straightforward, the coordinator is quick to respond and super enthusiastic, plus there are great chances to engage in role-playing for counseling. Definitely recommend it!

Completing the course ASAP is a real headache. It totally ruins the whole idea of an online course being self-paced.

They constantly call you and pressure you about canceling your enrollment. As a mom of two and juggling a full-time job, keeping up with a fast pace is tough. Those threatening calls to finish quickly just add to my stress. It’s really frustrating.

The lessons and assignments are overly complicated and lengthy. You have to record videos with two other participants, which can be a real hassle to coordinate. Plus, those participants need to act like team members, so you have to teach them first.

This whole situation is a major turn-off. Instead of learning, it just gives you a headache and feels like a waste of money since they’re tough to convince about extending deadlines. I’m really fed up. The trainers keep changing, and if you reach out for urgent help, good luck getting a reply. There are no scheduled tutorials, and every trainer has their own quirks and methods.

The website was super easy to get around, and if I ever needed assistance, it was right there. Someone would call me often to see how I was doing, and my instructor Ronnie was awesome!

This is merely the start and I’ve given this score because there’s always space to grow. There’s an old saying, 'You don’t need to be unwell to improve.'

Having the ability to choose when to study is super crucial. Plus, it’s not too pricey, which is a bonus. The customer service is really nice too!

I just wrapped up a counseling diploma with Upskilled, and I gotta say, it was a really enjoyable learning journey. The course supervisor was fantastic and super helpful, always ready to lend a hand whenever I needed it. If I found myself in a bind or needed some guidance, the folks at Upskilled were always eager to assist in any way possible. I did run into a few small hiccups while trying to get the hang of their new interface halfway through the course.

Everything's been fantastic up to now. I just signed up and I'm really looking forward to getting started. The training plan is a solid concept and filling it out was a breeze. The website is simple to use, way better than other course sites I've dealt with before. It feels user-friendly. My initial units are all set to go, and I've got an online meeting lined up for tomorrow to make sure I can navigate the system without a hitch. The support has been great during these first few days.
